ednesday marked the third day of the TSX pulling back from it most Oct 24 2016 intraday high of 14,963.60. That was the highest level in 15 months for the index so some profit-taking was certainly in order. Today though some of the selling was related to poor quarterly earnings, including earnings from CNR. More on that is below.
TSX Composite Index Falls 63.07 Points
By the close of the day on Wednesday the TSX Composite Index was lower by 0.42 percent to close at 14,807.56.
Since the lows seen in January, the TSX Composite Index is up 14 percent.
