Trade Alert – 10-20-30 Moving Averages Strategy On BCE Stock (BCE) – Aug 20 2014

In many ways Canadian stocks set themselves apart from US Stocks. Certainly the large cap stocks do. Many of the largest Canadian Corporations have large institutional followings. That institutional base offers a lot of support or many of Canadian big cap stocks. This can help in times of stress but it also can make trading within them difficult, especially for those of us who love options. The beauty of options is that they are safer than stocks themselves if traded properly. To that end there are many different strategies which have been developed to help investors profit with stocks while assisting to trying to protect against downside losses.

BCE Stock and 10-20-30 Moving Averages Strategy

One of those strategies in the 10-20-30 moving averages strategy. I have found this strategy works very well with specific Canadian Stocks. One of those, BCE Stock has a tight trading range and poor option volume and at time pricing. But through using the 10-20-30 moving averages strategy I can earn substantial profits and protect my position from loss.

Here is the first 10-20-30 trade done in BCE Stock. I will be updating this trade often and discussing the trade and adjustments so that investors interested in both the strategy and BCE Stock can follow along and learn the strategy, see how it is applied and how profits are handled as well as pullbacks and dips. I am using both options and stock to assist a wider number of investors as not all investors are interested in options.
