Last week saw the S&P open Monday at 2078 and by Friday close at 2091. The gain for the week overall was .62% but those numbers don’t tell the true story of last week.

On Monday the S&P broke through 2090 despite the fail oil conference on Sunday. On Tuesday the index jumped above 2100. This was the highest level this year for the S&P but Wednesday saw a further push higher with the S&P breaking through 2110. That rally on Wednesday was met by sellers who in the last half hour pushed the index back to close just above 2100.
