While it may not have seemed all that exciting, the three major indexes reached a two-week high on Monday. With a huge influx of earnings this week, analysts are hoping for an increase of at least 1% over the last quarter for both revenue and earnings numbers for stocks on average. This would mark a major turning point for stocks if it happens and could signal a resumption of the bull trend and a chance to push to the old highs on all three indexes. At the same time investors are also worried as there are many issues facing the market, not the least of which could be another quarter of declining revenue and earnings which could turn the market back down. A lot will be known by the end of this week.
After the market closed on Monday VISA released their numbers which disappointed. Tomorrow before markets open we get numbers from Whirlpool, Under Armour, Transunion, TD Ameritrade, Sprint, Sherwin William, Procter and Gamble, Merck, Lockheed, Eli Lilly, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler, DuPont, Caterpillar and 3M to mention just a handful of the stocks I will be watching. Then at the close we get a number of company including the biggest stock everyone is watching, Apple.

Stock Market Outlook for Tomorrow – Oct 25 2016
With changes to my website being implemented there are no technical charts this evening.
Technically the market s showing some signs of trying to push higher. Tuesday should see stocks move higher but weakness remains. A lot now depends on earnings. If earnings are poor to open the day, stocks should drift sideways with an up bias while waiting for Apple Stock results.
Overall the outlook is sideways with a bias higher.
