PepsiCo Stock has been in my Put Selling portfolio since 2009 and is just stellar at generating returns.  This is a highly diversified company with a wide range of products that provide multiple revenue streams which is what I like to see in a company. That way if one revenue stream slows, another often picks up its pace. Like Coca Cola, PepsiCo is in almost every country of the world which as we saw from the latest revenue figures often means if one area is performing poorly another region of the world sometimes picks up the revenue shortfall.

But no matter how much I like a company, trading in PepsiCo Stock still needs a strategy because at some point a trade will fail and unless I don’t mind holding stock for a while, knowing what the rescue strategy is to use can make a big difference in the profitability of the overall trade.

This article is a strategy discussion outlining the use of 3 possible rescue strategies. It is designed to explain the reasons for planning a rescue at the time of implementing a trade and the steps an investor may take when a trade fails to stay profitable while at the same time protecting capital from losses.
