Nike Stock – Trade Alert After The Split – Dec 28 2015

Today market the first day of trading in Nike Stock since the 2 for 1 stock split on Dec 24 2015.

I am still bullish on Nike Stock. I entered a trade on Dec 24, the day of the 2:1 stock split and I have entered a smaller trade today.

You can see in the chart below the tremendous run-up Nike Stock has had over the past 12 months. Twice this past fall however the stock pushed to new highs only to meet selling resistance. This could be the signal that a top is in place or possibly a temporary top. Often a double top such as you can see in the chart below needs confirmation by seeing a break of the prior low. That would mean a break below $60 could signal that the run-up presently, is over.
