The key to understanding the present market sell-off was in the advance decline ratio which continued to show that even on up days, volume was slanted to the downside. While it is true that for every seller there is a buyer, the advance decline ratio is what shows investors whether those sellers are continually selling as stocks move lower or whether buyers are buying as stocks move higher.

There are so many things scaring investors at this point that many are just wanting out. Here is how I approach the present market this morning and into the afternoon and what I am expecting for Friday and the start of next week.
