All in all the so-called Santa Claus rally has been rather a bust. If the first two days of the new year are not up then historically, 2016 could very well mark a bear market for stocks. The problem overall though is oil. On days when oil moves higher the market moves up and on days when oil falls, well you know what has been happening.
