For USA Members following the Market Direction Portfolio February 2015 saw higher returns with only slightly more capital being placed at risk. By the end of the final trade in February, the market direction portfolio was up 17.6% for the year in just two months. The goal for the market direction portfolio in 2015 was to earn 50% by the end of the final trade. In 2014 the market direction portfolio earned a staggering 104% marking the best year on record. Part of the reason for such an incredible return in 2014 was that aside from the October pullback, 2014 was a steady uptrend for the market, making trading the Market Direction Portfolio easier than so far in 2015.
The month of February saw only 4 trades in total but the return was better than January. Capital that was put at risk was slightly higher but there were no losses and the stop-losses used worked well. Part of the reason for just 4 trades in February was because the trades lasted longer. For example the Feb 19 trade did not end until March 3. The Feb 12 trade lasted until Feb 19. The Feb 3 trade lasted until Feb 6 and the Feb 10 trade lasted until Feb 11.
