Apple stock has hung to new highs better than most analysts expected.
The news that Warren Buffett had been accumulating shares of Apple Stock in 2017 has seemed to put a bit of a floor under the stock price. Looking at Berkshire’s SEC filing, they own 133 million shares or 2.5%. This places Apple stock as one of Berkshire’s largest holdings. That certainly has a lot of investors interested in the stock which has seen a gradual increase in the number of investors buying, rather than selling the stock on moves higher. This has also kept Apple stock near its 52 week high.
