Before The Open – Investing Strategy Notes, Apple Stock and VIX Index For June 9 2014

Here are my investing strategy notes before the markets open on June 9.

On Friday June 6 over the lunch hour I adjusted the stop on the market direction portfolio, tightening it to within 20 cents of the high. I was stopped out in the early afternoon at $71.27 but I did not re-enter. My outlook is that the market direction up is too overbought and a pullback to find support should occur. I have been wrong many times in the past and this could be just another period of being wrong.

There never though never a need to rush into any trade including entering the market direction portfolio. Two other topics discussed are my outlook on Apple Stock for Monday following the split and an update for the VIX Index Call Options Strategy.
