BBT Stock Trades Up 16% For 2016 – May 15 2016 Update

BB&T Corp Stock entered my portfolio in 2014. This is a financial holding company with a strong management team and excellent lending practices. This company trades on New York under the symbol BB&T.

The annual dividend presently is at 3.38% and with a payout ratio of 31.19% this dividend should remin safe. trading at just 13 times price to earnings, there is a lot to like about this stock for my trading methods.

BB&T Stock Earnings Ahead Of Last Two Years

The earnings made this year are ahead of both 2014 and 2015. 2015 was the best year to date but with only 5 months into trading this year, I am within $1000 of what was earned in all of 2015 and now ahead of what was made in all of 2014.
