Over on my public forum there is talk this morning about Whole Foods Markets Stock (WFM) which is down 11% today for around $36.24 and whether it is a buy, a sell or time for more Put Selling. I have no interest in this company. Over the past year my public forum has been filled with a variety of stocks that I would never touch, let alone be interested in. LINN Company (LNCO) is a good example of why investors lose capital as it plunged 23% today. Another stock is LINE (LINN ENERGY) which is down 17% today. These stocks if not traded properly will destroy a portfolio and the majority of stocks fall into these same categories. Stocks are risky assets. They deserve the reputation they have. My strategies are primarily selling options, both puts and calls against stocks that meet my criteria which members by now know well.
To that end this morning before the markets opened I posted a number of trade ideas. Here are two more trades I entered this morning, both of which meet my criteria for strength and the probability that they will not damage my portfolio.
